About This Spot

Stepping into Farm Duckling, you immediately sense a gentle rhythm unlike any other dining spot. Nestled amid open fields and shaded garden nooks in Karitena, it’s a place where families wander freely and children’s laughter mingles with the quiet call of birds and rustle of animals nearby. Time slows here, inviting guests to breathe in the fresh, crisp air and savor simple moments that blend nature and nourishment.

The atmosphere is unhurried yet alive, marked by spacious outdoor areas where deer, ducks, and a colorful mix of farm animals roam with ease, creating a rare feeling of closeness to the land. It’s a setting that encourages curiosity—young visitors can explore treehouses and climbing structures, while adults find themselves lingering over coffee or a thoughtfully prepared meal amidst the pastoral calm.

Beyond the natural charm, the kitchen reveals a deep respect for local flavors and traditions. Dishes arrive with the warmth of home cooking—comforting and hearty, crafted around fresh, often wild-sourced ingredients. The plate becomes a quiet celebration of the region’s richness, with slow-cooked meats that carry the earthiness of the surrounding hills and desserts that feel like gentle rewards after a day spent outdoors.

Whether it’s a mid-morning pause with a creamy vanilla ice cream or an evening shared over robust, smoky sausages and fresh garden salads, every bite connects you more intimately with this land and its stories. The rustic hospitality isn’t just about food—it’s the shared experience of a place where families gather, children explore freely, and nature remains the backdrop to each human moment.

Reservations help keep the flow easy, ensuring that visitors can settle into this peaceful pace without rush. Parking is ample and easy to navigate, making Farm Duckling an accessible retreat for those seeking a genuine encounter with Greek countryside life—a place where meals are part of a wider tapestry of discovery, connection, and warmth.

A great farm full of beautiful deer, turkey and even ostrich. A beautiful place for your coffee or food. Perfect for families. All animals have a large area to run and doesn’t really feel captivated.

Nice Farm with lots of animals, ducks, deers, donkeys, turtles. It has an outdoor playground. You can feed the animals as well with corn. You can coffee and snacks.

Deers, ducks and chickens everywhere! You also see a few turkeys and peacocks. We didn't see horses or ponies. Playground: apart from the common(swings etc) it also has a treehouse, a bridge and climbing wall. Restaurant: Fast service, very tasty dishes (beef, deer, wild boar). Spacey area. You need to do a reservation. Smoking inside is allowed. Easy parking in the free parking lot.

Farm is a huge area with plenty of parking space and beautiful gardens for kids to play, explore and feed the animals. A unique experience which attracts lots of visitors. However, Covid 19 precautions and safety measures that health professionals have been said that must be followed, rarely seen around.

Great farm for young children! A few animals and great activities for the children! Prefer the earliest hours in the morning if you don't want to be with all the other people during the noon and afternoon hours.

Delicious Food. Great place to bring the kids. But, worth the trip for anyone for the food.

This is a farm with animals including ducks, horses, chickens, deer and birds and turtles among others. Fantastic place with a lot of green, where you can have a drink on one side or food on the other. Very nicely spaced out and it has a lot of activities for kids, thus making it great for family escapes. If you're looking for relaxing enviroment this is it.

Unique farm atmosphere in this area, clean and well designed environment. A lot of activities for kids of all ages. Kids can spend a couple of hours there and get close to animals like donkeys, deers, emus and of course ducks. Highly recommend if you visit this area.
